Technology / Litteracy Autobiography

I first used a computer in the 5th grade. It was an Apple II E and I played Oregon Trail. I then used the same system in 7th grade computers and failed the class. I did not touch a computer again until 1998, I was 23 and I was on a Navy ship deployed in the Pacific and Indian Oceans. I learned how to email my wife (then my fiance). I later got an office job where i learned how to use the internet. In 2003 I first began using Myspace, and in 2009 Facebook.

Supplemental online support can give you a framework that can guide you through the processes that you encounter on the web. The advantages of this are a collaborative approach to learning and teaching on the web. The drawbacks can be that we begin to rely to much on this support and retard are own personal growth and discovery. To limit these advantages and maximize the disadvantages we must plot our course with directives and objectives so that we can be sure to reach our desired goals.
